Staying on track with New Year’s fitness goals: Tips from a trainer

As the second Friday in January marks the day many abandon their New Year’s resolutions, Patrick Pasquale, a trainer at Planet Fitness in Havelock, offers advice to help individuals stay committed to their fitness goals.
“I would say like the biggest thing is trying to stay consistent – is like wake up every day and remember, like, why you want to do it. That’s the biggest thing, like having a good ‘why’, writing it down, and then like staying focused on it,” Pasquale said.
For those not joining a gym, he suggests working out at home at least three days a week.
